In 1987 I bought my first computer-based music system: Atari computer, Notator, Yamaha pf-80 motherkeyboard, Yamaha TX81Z and Roland D-110 sound modules. I had composed a few pieces ever since I was eight years old but the new possibilities with midi system really opened up the sky.
I composed a lot of all kinds of music until 1995 when my wife and I had our firstborn. That ended my creative period cause I didn’t really have the time or the possibility to settle down and make music. I did play those old pieces with a piano during the next years and thought about possible arrangements but that’s about all I did.
But then in 2012 I built my own studio and started to make new arrangements of those old pieces so what you hear is actually original 80’s and 90’s stuff.
